Conception

Cubiquity and Ralph Lauren have a longstanding relationship, with our team having worked on everything from in-store POS to window displays to promotional print campaigns for the brand, and having delivered everything from standout ideas to smooth, succinct distribution. More recently, Ralph Lauren invited us to review and overhaul their European outlet store campaign solution — in order to save more time and maximise sales.

 

Creation

Traditional retail is a fast-moving, competitive sector, and the need for an understanding, flexible provider was key. One of the greatest challenges was surrounding the brand’s discount offers: physical and digital vouchers, in eight different languages, needed to be designed, printed and delivered to 19 brand outlet sites across Europe, in the shortest time possible.

 

Culmination

Prior to our engagement, the time lapse between presentation of a visual concept and in-store delivery was as much as 20 days, sometimes more when taking Greece and Turkey into account. By the time our work was in full swing, this time had been halved. Designing and artworking the files in-house, gaining client approval quickly and efficiently, then handing the files over to our expert print providers without fuss or delay, our solution proved a big success. Now, more than one million copies are printed, colour checked and packed in under three days, saving Ralph Lauren trading time and significant cost.
