Conception

On first meeting HF Holidays, we found an award-winning, activity-based holiday company with a staid, outdated marketing collateral and brochure fulfilment model. We needed to bring these systems up to speed to do justice to a company that prides itself on sun, scenery and action. First up, we met with key stakeholders to discuss immediate challenges and address ways of relieving the pressure. We formalised communication with HF’s marketing team, suggested new print practices and adjusted the brochure production schedule to run like clockwork during the critical April-to-October months. We also initiated monthly meetings to plan and facilitate a new long-term approach.

 

 

Creation

When everything was in place, we pulled the plug on HF’s former stock management system, and, via Cubiquity Online, swiftly realigned both UK and overseas brochure call-off processes through a selective distribution service that provided the very best value. We also designed the solution to allow multiple users to control the service, provide transparency on who orders what, and ensure financial control of budgets from the top down.

 

 

Culmination

We continue to work in close partnership with HF Holidays to develop new initiatives. Our core offering now includes:

  • Dedicated on-site management for 2 days pcm
  • Matrix pricing for core DM services saving over 15% against the previous provider, and with quicker turnaround than ever before
  • Comprehensive mailing services with clearly identifiable postage savings
  • Data cleansing on all mailing lists
  • Batch processing to reduce costs
  • New product sampling and testing and key product re-engineering across all brochure and direct mail artworks, including consistency of paper choice and format changes
  • Printer visits and best practice advice
  • Free brochure and operational stationery storage
  • Digitalisation support and advice
  • Ongoing support of client charities
