Leicester Hospitals Charity is a non-profit organisation committed to supporting patients, their caretakers, and NHS healthcare professionals in Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland, and beyond. As Leicester Hospitals Charity’s preferred print partner, they got in touch with us to help them produce, deliver, and install a brand-new pop-up shop campaign in Highcross Shopping Centre, Leicester. The project aimed to coincide with people’s shopping sprees to support fund raising, with every penny donated going straight to the charity.
Seamless Project Execution:
The primary goal was to raise funds to upgrade patient care, acquire essential medical equipment, and improve the overall infrastructure of the hospital facilities. Additionally, the pop-up shop was aimed to amplify the visibility of the Charity within the high street, engaging with a broader spectrum of supporters, and fostering awareness among a previously uncovered demographic within the core of the Trust’s reach.
Efficiency in Action
The client acquired a central spot at Highcross Shopping Centre to position their pop-up shop, where our dedicated Account Director swiftly assessed the unit, enabling a perfect fit for the design and creation of window, wall and floor vinyls, Foamex boards, and pop-up banners, which were all successfully produced and delivered on time and with precision within 7 working days.
Navigating Challenges
An unexpected challenge arose when the charity was informed less than 24 hours before the launch that they had to vacate the unit earlier than planned due to its sale. In response, our team met with the charity to assess the new space and to come up with the right solution based on the previous creatives. Our dedicated team worked closely with the charity to overcome this quickly and efficiently. We transferred and rearranged all assets throughout the 24-hour period to overcome the size difference of the new shop unit to create a more filled-out appearance.
Project Successes
The pop-up shop was launched during an event hosted by Leicester Hospitals Charity, with respected local business leaders in attendance to take on a social media challenge within the shop. Within the first 24 hours, the charity raised an impressive £15,000. This was a fast turnaround project, and our outcomes and problem-solving capabilities met and exceeded key stakeholder expectations. Our expert team continue to support and assist in producing and delivering further campaigns for Leicester Charity Hospitals
As one of our key suppliers, we have worked closely with Cubiquity over the years. It was an easy decision to approach them with our brand-new flagship project for 2023. We couldn’t have delivered it without the support from Tina, Nicola, and the wider team. They were incredibly supportive of the idea, offering expertise and support right through to installation. Working with them felt like they had become an extension of the team, and their input was invaluable for the success of the project. The result was fabulous, and the project is one of the key highlights of this year’s activities for the charity. Cubiquity played a big part in making great things happen for patients, families, and staff across all three of Leicester’s Hospitals.
